Artist Bio

Jo Walsh is a self-taught mixed media artist with a passion for creating female faces with diverse techniques and materials. Working with oil paints, acrylics, collage, textiles, pastels and colored pencils, Jo creates richly layered and expressive works that capture a sense of depth and individuality.

Discovering the world of mixed media in her 50s, Jo has spent the past decade honing her craft, embracing the freedom and creativity that comes from blending traditional and unconventional mediums. Each piece reflects a journey of experimentation, inspired by the textures, colors, and stories that arise through the process.

Currently, Jo is assembling and photographing a collection of her artwork to offer select pieces for sale, bringing a unique vision into homes and spaces where her work can bring beautiful colour and connection.
